Joe Rogan believes Paige VanZant should rethink her choice to compete in Power Slap.
"Don’t do it, Paige," said the UFC commentator and podcaster on the June 22 edition of the JRE Fight Companion. "Unless she makes a deal where [she says] 'I get to slap first.' Can you do that? Can you say 'I’ll fight you, but I get to slap first?'" VanZant, who fought for the UFC nine times between 2014 and 2020 and was a significant star during that period, entered free agency after losing three of her last five fights in the Octagon.
VanZant's first move post-UFC was to join BKFC, a bare-knuckle fighting promotion. She was the biggest signing in BKFC's history at that time, but she lost both her matches, one against Britain Hart and the other against Rachael Ostovich.
