Yuri Ivlev is rightfully one of the most honored lightweights of domestic mixed martial arts. He began performing in 2003 and over the course of 13 years of his rich fighting career he had more than 30 officially registered fights, not counting the numerous unrecorded tournaments in pankration and other types of mixed styles in the era of the formation of MMA in our country. In December 2009, together with the Legion club, he made it to the finals of the M-1 Challenge World Team Championship, defeating three opponents in a row in the group stage and in the semi-finals of the tournament ahead of schedule.
