The Bellator MMA debut of Simon Biyong didn’t go according to plans, and “Hamle” believes fans have yet to see his full potential. Biyong (7-2, 0-1 Bellator) dropped a decision to short-notice replacement Christian Edwards at Bellator 261 in June 2021. It was the first time the Cameroonian had competed in the United States, something that he always had aimed to do. Following the loss, Biyong made some major adjustments in his professional life, including moving to Germany’s UFD Gym in search of quality sparring partners. Now, he feels ready to showcase his arsenal against Luke Trainer at Bellator 281, aiming to add another finish to a resume in which all victories but one have come inside the distance.
