LAS VEGAS – Two weeks after a high-profile civil trial concluded with Conor McGregor found liable for assault, UFC President Dana White briefly addressed the situation—or rather, avoided addressing it directly.
On November 22, a 12-day civil trial ended with a jury finding McGregor responsible for assault in connection with a 2018 incident. The claim, brought forward by Nikita Hand, alleged misconduct at a Dublin hotel. The verdict ordered McGregor to pay $260,000 in damages, along with covering Hand’s legal expenses.
During the UFC 310 post-fight press conference, White was asked for his reaction to McGregor’s legal troubles. He offered little insight, stating:
“What do you mean what’s my reaction? If I had a comment, I would’ve put it out already.”
Despite McGregor’s ongoing legal and reputational challenges, White reiterated his earlier comments that McGregor isn’t likely to return to the Octagon until 2025.
“He hasn’t been fighting here in I don’t know how long,” White said. “If
