Max Holloway expected to take on Arnold Allen on April 15th, ufc close to being finalized as the main event of that fn card. For about a decade Holloway has been untouchable at featherweight aside from losing to Volkanovski. Arnold Allen has won 12 in a row and has a record of 19-1, if he can beat Holloway he will be ranked #1 in the division. But the next title shot will go to the winner of this interim title fight. So maybe Allen gets the next title shot after that if he wins. If Holloway wins he's in a weird spot, he can beat everyone in the division but Volkanovski. Maybe he could try moving up a weight class, but it'd be kind of funny if Volkanovsk becomes the champ there too. Max may be undersized at 155, but at least it would open up the possibility of him fighting some more interesting competition, rather than running it back with everyone at 145.
